Don’t be shocked if you discover this is a love letter. For I cherish you, and I cherish our relationship. Even though our friendship started late in our lives, that has not diminished its significance or importance to me. Your friendship is one of a handful of friendships I have had in my life that has been so meaningful, so rewarding, and so much fun. Our walks, our lunches, our wonderful dinners with you and Pam, and the laughter we invariably shared. They populate my recollections of wonderful times and I will always carry them in my heart.
