Just last week I thought about the two of you and how I miss the times that our families in their various stages would be together.

Elmer, you are also a role model to me as a physician. Your calm and caring manner is what I have and continue to emulate. Thank you.

I wish I were there to say goodbye (and to get one more of those big Elmer hugs) but that is not possible. So I will send you both hugs and lots of love from across the bay...
