We saw Elmer’s obituary in the Chronicle this morning. We are both so sorry that you lost such a dear friend. Both Tom and I so enjoyed his enthusiasm, his spirit and his zest for living.  We feel lucky to have his brief acquaintance over our Chinese Christmas dim sum tradition. I personally loved his amazing recall of old memories and research he did for his food articles.

Tom and I have alway treasured knowing people who exemplify real LIVING. We so enjoyed meeting Pam who shared his love of life and  and travel lust. We also enjoyed meeting  his granddaughter too last January.
