Elmer, dear
Haven't we had some wonderful, memorable times together! The lunches and dinners and laughs at your house in the garden and in your dining room. The delicious lunches at Sushi Ran (always ordering the same things--I can taste them now). The lovely evenings in my Belvedere Lagoon garden and the preparation of and enjoying your gourmet surprises in my kitchen. All the delicious food you brought to me when I was recovering from surgery. I always will remember your caring for me and helping me to eat healthy foods then. I still have your notes on healthy foods to gain weight. Thank you so much!
I've felt honored being included in your extended family gatherings --Christmas Dinner, birthday dinners, your 90th birthday celebration especially. I will remember you as you were that evening, the honored birthday boy honoring all of us, as you would do, of course! Thank you for your warmth, your funny jokes, your reminiscences. And I will always treasure your's and Pam's cookbook AND your Memoir. I am so honored that you gave me a copy. I will always remember you, always Elmer. I love you so much.
Robin
