Hi Elmer and Pam,I’ve always remember your kindness to Lee, Elmer, when we were visiting Evelyn and Henry. Lee had something bothering him and I asked you if you would mind  checking it. I was imposing on your downtime but (like Joe) you never seemed to mind using what you knew - a calling not just a job.You cradled Lee’s head with firmness and confidence but with such gentleness - my eyes filled with tears because you exuded trustworthiness - and seemed to know instinctively that this was one very very scared boy (especially around big men). But you knew, not only what to do, but how to do it. Unapologetically, relaxedly, with kindness and care.It may have been a small thing to you but it meant the world to me.With love and respect,K
